Abstract

This study delves into the multifaceted impacts of authoritarian parenting within Muslim households on children's development. Employing a library research method, the study relies on extensive literature analysis as the cornerstone for examining this subject. Findings suggest that authoritarian parenting, centered on Islamic religious principles, can yield beneficial outcomes when executed judiciously. Nevertheless, this parenting style may induce stress and discontentment without a profound comprehension of spiritual values and an empathetic approach toward children's emotions. Hence, achieving equilibrium, possessing deep insights, and fostering open communication within authoritarian parenting practices in Muslim families are crucial for promoting the positive growth of children and cultivating a robust grasp of Islamic religious principles.
